IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS (THE “CONTEST RULES”) BEFORE ENTERING THE 2025 “LANDSHARK SUMMER ON- PACK ‘FIN TO WIN’” CONTEST (THE “CONTEST”). BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, AN ENTRANT REPRESENTS THAT HE/SHE/THEY SATISFY ALL OF THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BELOW AND AGREE TO BE BOUND UNCONDITIONALLY BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND ALL DECISIONS OF CARLSBERG CANADA INC. (THE “SPONSOR”) IN RELATION TO THE CONTEST.
THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO CERTAIN CANADIAN RESIDENTS. MUST BE OF LEGAL DRINKING AGE AND A RESIDENT OF AN ELIGIBLE PROVINCE OR TERRITORY TO PARTICIPATE.
1.0 ELIGIBILITY
1.1 To be eligible to participate a person must be, at the time of entry into the Contest: (a) resident of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, the Northwest Territories, or the Yukon (collectively, the “Contest Provinces”); and (b) have reached the legal drinking age and age of majority in their province or territory of residence.
1.2 To be eligible to win, an entrant must not be an employee of, or a member of the immediate family of an employee of, or domiciled with an employee of any of the following: (a) any provincial or territorial liquor control board or other agency responsible for the regulation of liquor products in any of the Contest Provinces; (b) the Sponsor or any of its parent companies, subsidiaries or affiliates; (c) any Contest judges; (d) any prize supplier; or (e) any advertising or promotion agency which has provided or is providing services in relation to the Contest.
1.3 NO PURCHASE NECESSARY, please see Rule 3.1.2 for details
1.4 The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest.
1.5 Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading.
1.6 The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
2.0 CONTEST PERIOD
2.1 The eligibility period for entering the Contest opens at 12:01 AM (EST) June 2, 2025 and continues until 11:59 PM (EST) on August 31, 2025 (The “Contest Period”).
3.1 There are two ways to enter:
3.1.1 Purchase Method of Entry. Enter by visiting www.landsharklager.ca/fintowin and submitting a unique PIN found inside specially marked 24x355mL or 15x355mL LandShark Lager packs. You may also enter by scanning the QR Code printed on the packaging. You will be required to provide your full name, age, complete mailing address (including city, province, and postal code), email address, and daytime and evening telephone numbers.
3.1.2 No Purchase Necessary Method of Entry. Alternatively, you may enter without making a purchase and receive a unique pin by submitting a written statement (minimum 50 words) describing what “fins up” means to you. Include your full name, age, complete mailing address (including city, province, and postal code), email address, and daytime and evening telephone numbers.

3.2 All entries must be received no later than August 31, 2025 (the “Contest Closing Date”) and must be clear and legible. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, illegible, or incomplete entries.
3.3 You may submit a maximum of one (1) entry per person per day during the Contest Period. All eligible entries received before the Contest Closing Date will be entered into the prize draw.
3.4 All entries are subject to verification. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification). Failure to provide such proof in a timely manner may result in disqualification. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of determining whether a Contest entry is valid is the Contest Sponsor. An entry will be rejected if, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor, it is not fully completed with all required information and submitted during the Contest Period. Any use or attempted use of any automated, macro, script, robotic or other systems(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or disrupt this Contest is prohibited and grounds for disqualification by the Contest Sponsor. The Releasees (as defined below) are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible entries (all of which are deemed void).
4. PRIZES
4.1 Odds of Winning and Available Prizes. The odds of winning any prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received prior to the applicable draw(s). A total of eleven (11) prizes are available to be won in this Contest, consisting of:

4.2 Prize Conditions. The following conditions apply to the Contest Prizes: (a) Contest Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable, with no substitutions permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor; (b) any costs associated with delivering a Contest Prize to a selected entrant are the sole responsibility of such entrant provided, however, that the Contest Sponsor may elect to pay for any customary and reasonable shipping costs associated with the delivery of a Contest Prize; (c) The Sponsor reserves the right at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion to: (i) Apply reasonable restrictions on the availability or use of any Contest Prize or any component of a Contest Prize; and/or (ii) substitute the Contest Prizes or any component of any Contest Prize for another of equal or greater value, which may include, without limitation, a cash alternative.
5. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION
5.1 A random draw to select the winners of the ten (10) Vacation Pack Prizes and the one
(1) Grand Prize will be conducted at approximately 9:00 AM (EST) on September 7, 2025 (the “Draw Date”).
5.2 The draw will be conducted by an independent contest organization from among all
eligible entries received by the end of the Contest Period.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION
6.1 The Contest Sponsor or its designated representative will make a maximum of three
(3) attempts to contact each selected entrant via the contact information provided by the selected entry within five (5) business days of the Draw Date. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within three (3) attempts or five (5) business days of the Draw Date (whichever occurs first), or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable; then the selected entrant will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the applicable Contest Prize) and the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries (in which case the provisions of this section shall apply to such new selected entrant).
6.2 Before being declared a winner of any Contest Prize, the selected entrant will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid, and sign and return within five (5) business days of notification the Contest Sponsor’s declaration and release form, which: (i) confirms compliance with these Contest Rules; (ii) acknowledges acceptance of the applicable Contest Prize as awarded; (iii) releases the Contest Sponsor and each of its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”)
from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, the selected entrant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the applicable Contest Prize or any portion thereof; (iv) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of the selected entrant’s name, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by the Contest Sponsor or any of its affiliates or designated representatives, in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet.
6.3 If a selected entrant: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; (b) fails to return the properly executed Contest release form within the specified time; and/or (c) cannot accept the applicable Contest Prize for any reason, then he/she will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the applicable Contest Prize) and the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries (in which case the forgoing provisions of this section shall apply to such new selected entrant).
7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
7.1 Without limiting the release provided in Section 6 above, and for greater certainty, the Releasees will not be liable for: (a) any incomplete or inaccurate information, whether caused by users of the Contest website or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries; (b) the theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries or the Contest website; (c) any problems with, or technical malfunctions of, telephone networks or lines, computer systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, viruses or bugs; (d) any failure of any entry or other communication required hereunder to be received by the Contest Sponsor or entrant, as applicable, for any reason, including, without limitation, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof; or (e) damage to a participant’s or other person’s system occasioned by participation in this Contest or downloading of materials related to this Contest.
7.2 The provincial liquor authorities are not connected with this Contest in any manner whatsoever and are not liable in any way whatsoever with regard to any matter that relates to the Contest. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Meta, X, or any other platform or media channel where the Contest may be promoted or advertised.
7.3 By entering the Contest the entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliated and related companies, business partners, advertising and promotional agencies, prize suppliers, and the independent contest organization, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns and all others associated with the development and execution of the Contest (collectively, the "Releasees"), from and against any and all manner of action, causes of action, suits, debts, covenants, contracts, claims and demands, including legal fees and expenses, whatsoever,
including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach of contract, and fundamental breach and liability for physical injury, death, or property damage which an entrant or their administrators, heirs, successors or assigns might have or could have, by reason of or arising out of the selected entrant's participation in the Contest and/or in connection with the acceptance or use of any Contest Prize.
7.4 The Sponsor and the independent contest organization do not assume any responsibility and are not responsible for (i) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information and entries that fail to comply with the Official Rules; (ii) any loss, damage or claims caused by any Contest Prize or the Contest itself; or (iii) any failure of the website during the Contest Period, including any problems, human or technical errors, printing or typographical errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, technical malfunctions of any computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, access providers, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from downloading any material connected to the Contest, all of which may affect a person's ability to participate in the Contest.
7.5 The Sponsor and the independent contest organization do not assume any responsibility and are not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind or insufficient space in an entrant's mailbox to receive e-mail messages, or for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, falsified, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled or incomplete entries, which will be void.
7.6 Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void.
7.7 Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution, and to disqualify an entrant from the Contest or any other promotion conducted by the Sponsor now or in the future. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered the Contest in a manner contrary to the Contest Rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by the Contest Rules, the entrant and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.
7.8 If, due to any technical, production or other error, more prizes are claimed or awarded than are described in the Contest Rules, the number of prizes identified in the Contest Rules will be awarded in a random drawing from all such prize claims received.
7.9 In no event will the Sponsor be responsible or liable for more than the stated number of prizes described in the Contest Rules.
7.10 In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entries made online will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. An "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet service provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail addresses. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder for the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.
7.11 All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant and winner. The Contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws.
7.12 The Contest is void where prohibited by law. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein in respect of residents of the other Canadian provinces/territories, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
7.13 The approximate retail value of the Contest Prizes as stated by the Sponsor in point- of-sale advertising, and other advertising, promotion materials, and/or in these Contest Rules is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, the passage of time between the date the approximate retail values are stated by the Sponsor and the date a Contest Prize is awarded or redeemed. If, at the time a Contest Prize is redeemed or awarded, the actual prevailing retail purchase price for such Contest Prize is less than the approximate retail value stated by the Sponsor in point of sale, television and print advertising, promotion materials, and/or in these Contest Rules, the prize winner will not be entitled to a cheque or cash for the price difference or any other form of compensation.
7.14 In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including, but not limited to: the Contest entry form, and/or point of sale, television, print or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
8. PERSONAL INFORMATION
8.1 The Sponsor respects each entrant's right to privacy. By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information to the Contest Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Contest and in accordance with the Contest Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (available at: https://www.carlsberggroup.com/privacy-policy/) (the “Privacy Policy”).
8.2 By accepting a Contest Prize, the recipient consents to the collection, use and disclosure to the public the following information: their name, address (city, province), voice data (including verbal/recorded statements), statements (whether written or otherwise), and photographs or other likenesses for publicity purposes in connection with the Contest in any media or formats including, without limitation, the internet, television, print media, and radio, without further notice, permission or compensation. Personal information will not be used for purposes other than administering the Contest and the other purposes described herein and will not be disclosed to any third-party unless required for the purpose of administering the Contest, awarding a prize to an eligible entrant, and/or if such disclosure occurs via the Sponsor executing its rights to disclose an eligible entrant’s personal information for publicity purposes in connection with the Contest.
9. MISCELLANEOUS
9.1 All decisions of the Contest Sponsor and its designated representative(s) are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest and on all entrants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of entries.
9.2 The Contest Sponsor and other Releasees will not be responsible for illegible, incomplete, postage-due, lost, misdirected, errors, failures, or late entries, all of which will be deemed void.
9.3 Any use of automated devices to enter this Contest is prohibited.
9.4 No correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants.
9.5 Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
9.6 The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify from this Contest and any future contest or other promotion conducted by the Contest Sponsor, any individual that they deem not in compliance with these Contest Rules, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or Contest website; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9.7 PIN numbers that are obtained from unauthorized sources, are not original, or are illegible, altered, reproduced, stolen, counterfeit, irregular, or contain printing or other errors are not valid. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for lost, falsified or ineligible PIN numbers. All decisions of the Contest Sponsor are final. The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including, but not limited to, errors in advertising, the Contest Rules, the selection and announcement of winners or the distribution of Contest Prizes. The Contest is subject to and intended to comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, and to the extent any provision of the Contest does not comply with such laws such provision shall be void. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and decisions of the Contest Sponsor.
10. RIGHT TO TERMINATE OR AMEND
10.1 The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or amend this Contest and or amend these Contest Rules, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice if any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Contest Rules.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
11.1 All intellectual property used by the Contest Sponsor in connection with the promotion and/or administration of the Contest, including, without limitation, all trade- marks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, artwork, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by or licensed to the Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any such intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
